Despite the patient's underlying cardiac condition and obesity, the multidisciplinary team optimized her for surgery and successfully performed a robotic hepatectomy using advanced robotic instruments that provide exceptional precision and flexibility. Unlike traditional open surgery, which requires a large incision, the procedure was completed through four small keyhole incisions and a single 4 cm incision to safely remove the tumour, minimizing surgical trauma while ensuring effective cancer treatment.
