Does a biopsy mean cancer?
No. A biopsy does not mean you have cancer. It removes cells or tissue for examination; results may show cancer, a non-cancerous condition, precancerous changes, or that another test is needed.
What remains uncertain
Sometimes a sample is insufficient or a result is not definitive. Only the treating team can explain a report in context.
